When setting up an account in Atrium, you can create an account with single sign on with your corporate email account (Gmail or Microsoft) or Salesforce.
If your organization uses Google, select “Sign in with Google.” This will take you to a Google hosted sign in page where you can enter your email credentials. Once you have authorized your login information, you will be taken back to Atrium to continue setting up your account.
If your organization’s Google administrator requires an application to be “white listed” before authorizing, Google may show an authorization error and not allow you to redirect back to continue with account setup.
You can continue to set up your account while waiting for your Google administrator to approve the integration by returning to the Sign In page and logging in with your Salesforce credentials.
You can authorize Google later in the setup process or with the help of your Atrium representative.
Microsoft
If your organization uses Microsoft, select “Sign in with Microsoft.” This will take you to a Microsoft hosted sign in page where you can enter your email credentials. Once you have confirmed, you will be taken back to Atrium to continue setting up your account.
If your organization’s Microsoft administrator requires an application to be “white listed” before authorizing, Microsoft may redirect you to an error page and not allow you to login with email.
You can continue to setup your account while waiting for your Microsoft administrator to approve the integration by returning to the Sign In page and logging in with your Salesforce credentials. You can authorize Microsoft later in the setup process or with the help of your Atrium representative.
Salesforce
You can create your Atrium account by signing in with your SFDC credentials by clicking “Show other sign in options” and clicking “Sign in with Salesforce”
Once you login with Salesforce, you will be asked to confirm access to your SFDC account and then asked to authorize the Atrium<>Salesforce sync to begin pulling your team’s data into Atrium. Once you have completed logging in, you will be taken to continue setting up your Atrium account.
Logging in Once Your Account is Set Up
Once your Atrium account is setup, you will be able to login to you account with either your Email address or your SFDC login. Your Atrium user record contains your Salesforce ID and email address, so when you login it will take you to the right account.
Note on SSO and Third Party Authentication
For users who have third party authentication services, such as Okta, it should be noted that you will be able to log into Atrium without any issue!
It is a bit tricky to understand, but essentially, Atrium only communicates with Google, Microsoft or Salesforce to authenticate. A third party service, such as Okta, can be able to "vouch" for Google, Microsoft or Salesforce credentials to log into Atrium. Please see the below image and link for a further explanation:
