While there are many factors that affect the timeliness of data in Atrium, below are two charts that will provide additional information into how often Atrium updates your data. Answering the question of how often Atrium updates data may seem a bit like predicting the weather or providing a traffic update for a commute in that it depends on a lot of different & quickly-changing factors, but a few of those elements are mentioned in low complexity orgs versus high complexity orgs.
One main element that affects how often Atrium updates your data is your organization's complexity; there are low complexity orgs and high complexity orgs. Low complexity orgs tend to be smaller, with a less complex org chart, less SFDC data, less customization, and few, if any, background processes that require frequent updating of primary source data, etc... A high complexity org tends to be larger, with a more complex org chart, more SFDC data, more customization features, and background processes that require frequent updating of primary source data.
Low Complexity Organizations: Updates can take less time than what is listed in this chart, but the times below per metric are considered normal.
~3-5 Hours | ~5-7 Hours | ~7-9 Hours | ~9-11 Hours | ~1x per day |

High Complexity Organizations: These time estimates assume that there is much new data to be pulled for an org each time an update process runs. It will typically take less time than what is listed here, but the times below are considered normal (e.g. lots of traffic on commute or bad weather forecasted).
~8-10 Hours | ~14-16 Hours | ~1x per Day | ~Next Day | ~3x or 4x per week |
