Create a New Dashboard
First, go to the three-dot menu and select "Create a Dashboard".
Give your new dashboard a name and description and start adding cards. For each card you add, you can edit all of the elements that are editable on any card view in Atrium and save that configuration - meaning that you can specify the individuals on the card, the timeframe and time grouping, and any filters that you would like to appear or apply to the card.
Clone an Existing Dashboard
Several dashboards come pre-loaded in Atrium, or others on your team may have shared dashboards with you. In either case, if you want to use an existing dashboard as a template for a new dashboard, you can clone and then edit the cloned copy of the dashboard.
To clone a dashboard, navigate to the three dots menu and select "Duplicate Dashboard".
Share a Dashboard and Change Editing Permissions
If you would like to share a dashboard you own or have editor permissions on for someone else that has an Atrium license to view in their instance, it's very simple(Individuals without a license to login to Atrium will always go through the Guest User Experience). Under the three-dot menu at the top right the first option you will see is "Share Dashboard." The menu that populates will show you who currently has permissions to either view, share, and/or edit the dashboard.
Viewer - As a viewer, the dashboard will be visible in their Atrium instance but no changes can be made and no edit permissions are available.
Editor - As an editor, the dashboard is not only visible in their instance but they can also make any edits and can share the dashboard with view, or view and edit permissions.
Owner - Only one person can own any dashboard. As the owner, you have all the above options, but can also delete the dashboard. In the event dashboard ownership needs to be changed, only the current owner can make that change.
Here's a look at the process -
Broadcast & Distribute a Dashboard
Dashboards should be broadcast. A dashboard that isn't looked at is a less useful dashboard. So use the ability to send dashboards via email and Slack in order to ensure that they're being consumed and managed from.
For a dashboard that has already been created you will see multiple options to distribute, the first being a Broadcast button on the top-right of any dashboard -
You will then have the option of entering specific email addresses or selecting the Slack channel/person you would like the dashboard distributed to, in addition to the distribution time and frequency.
Distributing a dashboard is beneficial when you're sharing metrics with individuals who do not have full Atrium access.
You also have the option of selecting the three-dot menu to the right of the dashboard, and then either selecting Schedule Email Updates or Schedule Slack Updates and completing the above steps.
Edit a Dashboard
You have the option to either edit individual cards on a dashboard or to bulk edit all cards on a dashboard.
To edit an individual card or add a card, choose the "Edit Dashboard" option in from the three dot menu. From the resulting screen, you can add or delete individual cards, change which KPI is showing on a card, or change the individuals, timeframe, or grouping on a card. You can also change which filters are selected or change the number of days on the untouched opps and stuck opps cards.
You can also change the timeframe and grouping on every card on a dashboard at once, or edit all of the people on a dashboard.
To bulk edit the timeframe for all cards on a dashboard, select "Edit Dashboard Timeframe & Groupings" from the three dot menu. You can then select any combination of timeframes and time intervals groupings to apply to every card on the dashboard. You may want to use this to create a dashboard that exclusively covers activities last week or to create a ramping dashboard that matches the ramping timeframe that makes the most sense for your team.
To bulk edit the individuals shown on a dashboard, select "Edit People" from the three dot menu. That will launch the "People Picker" where you can select any individuals from the org chart that you want to show on the dashboard cards. This is especially useful if you want to clone an existing dashboard and use it for a new team.
Change Sort Order
By default, individuals added to a dashboard are added in alphabetical order by first name. However, you have options to change the order in which those individuals appear.
If you would like a "leaderboard" sort, where individuals are stack ranked from highest-to-lowest performing, or from lowest-to-highest performing, you can choose "Sort People/Teams" from the three-dot menu in the top right:
That selection will open a prompt asking you whether to use default sort or one of the leaderboard options:
The other way to change the order in which individuals appear on a dashboard is to manually reorder them. This may be useful if you have individuals working in "pods" that you want to keep grouped together on your dashboard. To manually reorder the individuals on a dashboard, choose the "Edit People" option:
And then select the "Reorder" button that appears under the list of names on the left-hand panel:
From the next screen, you can drag and drop names to move individuals into your preferred order.
Don't forget to Save!
Edit Dashboard Preferences
You have the option of turning off Atrium's out of the box dashboards for all users in your company, if you feel they will not be relevant. You can do so under your settings>Company Settings>Dashboard Preferences -
If any of these dashboards are toggled off, they will no longer be visible to anyone in your company, but it's important to note that if anyone has modified a dashboard, that dashboard cannot be toggled off for that user.
