Atrium's Activity Points card allows you to measure the total level of effort a rep is putting into their sales process by attributing "points" to sales activities and tallying the total number of points across the given time period.
Points are accrued as follows:
- 1 Point for each Call
- 1 Point for each Email Sent
- 1 Point for each 5 minutes of a Meeting on Calendar
Why It's Important
Activity volume is an important precursor to sales performance and combining that activity into one metric helps teams understand the combined effort reps are putting in. Certain activities, like meetings, require more time and energy, so weighting that activity as 1 point per 5 minutes gives a more clear picture of the total effort of each rep.
How Do I Use It?
The Activity Points Card pairs nicely with your Rise and Shine and Activity Dashboards and Alert Feeds to measure how reps are spending their time and who you might need to check in with.
In Performance Review Dashboards, this card can help explain how your top performers level of effort compares with their peers and how strong activity values correlate with performance.
Set Goals for your reps to set an expectation of how much effort they should be putting into their week and keep track of how reps are progressing through the week/month/quarter.
How do we count meetings that are scheduled during the time period?
In the Activity Points card, we only count meetings that have already happened. So I you have meetings scheduled in the future, they will not count on this card until their date has passed and the activity has occurred.
