Learn more about how Atrium generally handles ramping here.
Automatically Pro-Rate Goals During Ramp
This is the default setting for all organizations. When a new rep is added to a team, they will inherit the same goal values the rest of their peers have. Atrium will then pro-rate the goal based on where the rep is in their ramp, per metric, and increment them towards a fully ramped goal throughout their role's defined ramp schedule. This setting happens automatically, so your Org's admins and managers do not need to make any adjustments for their team as they ramp.
Set Your Own Goal Values for Ramping Reps
This setting will automatically set the same goal values that the ramping rep's peers have, so they will inherit the fully ramped goal. Generally those goals will be too high for a ramping rep, so Atrium will likely share warning alerts on that rep being low on those goals.
If you would like to set more appropriate custom ramping goals, you and your team have the option to change these goal values for the ramping rep to create your own goal ramping. If you do this, you will have to update those on an ongoing basis throughout their ramp.
To set "custom ramping goals" navigate to your team's goal page, and click on the name of the ramping rep you want to update and "Edit a goal" to the value you want for that timeframe.
Do Not Report on Goals During Ramp
This setting will turn off Goal Alerts for reps during their ramp duration for each metric. If you would prefer to silence goal alerts while your reps are ramping, this is a great option. Once a rep completes their ramp, per metric, they will inherit the team average goals. While a rep is in their ramp, per metric, the goals page will show "N/A- Ramping"
Note: If a rep has been in the same segment/discipline combination in a previous role, their ramp start date will go back to their first role with that segment/discipline combination.
