Slack is an important distribution tool to put Atrium metrics directly where anyone in your company can see them quickly and easily, and most importantly somewhere they're likely using heavily on a daily basis. This is why Atrium has integrated with Slack to push the same email notifications to Slack as an option.
Integrating Slack
The first thing you will want to do is authorize Slack from the Atrium Integrations page by clicking here.
The page should look like this:
Click on the button that says "Connect to Slack," which will take you through a 5 second authorization flow, and you are done!
Changing Slack Accounts
It's important to make sure you are authorizing the correct Slack account, since many people today have Slack accounts for professional and personal groups.
If you authorized the incorrect Slack account by mistake, it's an easy fix! If you follow this link, you will be able to see which Slack instance was authorized for your Atrium instance and make changes to correct it as well by clicking the dropdown in the top right and selecting the correct Slack account you should authorize. To get Slack distributions in your Private Channel, simply have an individual who is in that channel connect to their Slack account by following the above instructions.
